This Internet Use Policy ("Policy") outlines the guidelines and expectations for guests of Buddy’s Huron Hideaway ("Property") regarding the use of the Internet during their stay. By accessing and using the internet services provided at the Property, guests agree to comply with this Policy.

1. Internet Access

1.1 The Property provides internet access to guests for their convenience and enjoyment during their stay. However, the Property does not guarantee the internet connection's availability, speed, or reliability.

1.2 Guests must use their own devices (such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets) to access the internet at the Property. The Property does not provide any devices for internet use.

1.3 Guests are responsible for ensuring their devices' compatibility, security, and configuration to connect to the Property's internet network.

 

2. Acceptable Use 

2.1 Guests must use the internet services responsibly, lawfully, and respectfully. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

a) Engaging in any illegal activities, including but not limited to hacking, unauthorized access, copyright infringement, and distribution of malicious software.

b) Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights while using internet services.

c) Engaging in activities that may cause harm, disruption, or annoyance to other guests or the Property, including excessive bandwidth consumption or using the internet for commercial purposes without prior permission.

d) Accessing or downloading explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content that may cause offence or discomfort to others.

 

3. Security and Privacy

3.1 Guests are responsible for maintaining the security and privacy of their personal information and devices while using Internet services. The Property shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or unauthorized access to personal information.

3.2 Guests should ensure their devices have up-to-date antivirus software and security measures to protect against malware and unauthorized access.

3.3 Guests should exercise caution when sharing personal or sensitive information online and avoid accessing websites or entering personal information on unsecured or suspicious websites.

 

4. Technical Support

4.1 The Property staff may provide limited technical support for basic internet connectivity issues. However, guests should note that they are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any device-specific or advanced technical problems on their own.

 

5. Indemnification

5.1 Guests agree to indemnify and hold the Property harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to their use of the Internet services, including any violations of this Policy or applicable laws.

How to erase personal data and clear App Data and Cache on Fire TV

To resolve intermittent app issues, clear the app data and cache.

  1. Go to Settings  on your Fire TV.
  2. Select Applications .
  3. In Manage Installed Applications, select the app you are having trouble with.
  4. Select Clear Cache, and then Clear Data.

Note: If an app is unused for more than 30 days and the device is running low on storage, the storage optimizing feature will automatically clear the app cache. This feature runs in the background and can’t be deactivated.
